Pita Kitchen Avondale is seeking a reliable Kitchen Team Member to support our busy back-of-house operations. This versatile role is perfect for someone eager to learn Mediterranean cooking techniques while contributing to a smooth-running kitchen in a supportive setting.
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist with food prep, assembly of menu items, and general kitchen support
- Help maintain exceptional cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen
- Support line cooks and grill staff during high-volume periods
- Follow all company recipes, safety guidelines, and portion standards
- Participate in team efforts to ensure efficient daily service
Requirements:
- Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not required – we provide training
- Enthusiasm for learning and working in a team environment
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Basic knowledge of food handling and sanitation preferred
- Strong work ethic and dependability
