About the Role:
Join Pita Kitchen as a Shift Leader, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences in Surprise, AZ. Lead a passionate team, manage daily operations, and ensure our customers enjoy the freshest Mediterranean cuisine in a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth service during shifts.
- Lead, train, and motivate team members to provide outstanding customer service.
- Manage inventory, including ordering and stock control.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist in scheduling staff and managing labor costs effectively.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Support management in achieving sales goals and promoting specials.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a leadership role within the food service industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends availability.
- Passion for Mediterranean cuisine and customer service.
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree is a plus.
- Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills.
